A school to introduce, a warehouse to organise, a service to present. Every project starts with a real need. Here are the decisions and my contribution.

New English Academy

A new English school and a website to build from scratch. I worked with the client from the first idea through to launch, creating a space that reflects her school.

According to the client, the information on the website helped people discover the school and contact her. The form provided another way to make an enquiry.

01 / Understand the school

Courses, goals, certifications and contacts needed to be clear to first-time visitors. The client provided the copy; I designed and developed the website from scratch.

02 / Decide together

The initial reference was an image-led photography website. I proposed a direction better suited to a school. We discussed colours and content, making room for course information, a map and a contact form.

03 / Start a conversation

The client confirms that visitors have used the form and contacted her by phone or email after reading the website. We worked through continuous feedback, within a tight delivery schedule.

From listening to small businesses to product design and full-stack development

A small warehouse deserves a simple tool. DGD grew out of conversations with small businesses in Calabria and Vibo Valentia that tracked stock on paper, in Excel or without a structured record.

A shared set of records, accessible on a phone through a PWA. The product is being tested by a few businesses, with early qualitative feedback on the convenience of moving from spreadsheets to a dedicated tool.

01 / Start with real work

Conversations with warehouse users revealed a need for a simple, accessible product, compared with tools they considered expensive and demanding. I defined screens, data relationships and operations around these needs.

02 / Connect the operations

Stock receipts, dispatches and transfers connect warehouses, products and customers. Profiles have different permissions, including editing recorded movements. I built the design, Angular front end and Firebase and Firestore back end.

03 / Develop through feedback

User requests led to dashboard indicators for movements, incoming and outgoing values, and low-stock alerts. The PWA makes records available on phones. The product continues to evolve through feedback from the businesses testing it.

Complete rewrite from Vue to Angular

A landing page for the Repower Charging Net service, developed within my company from a designer’s original design.

I handled every aspect of development and rewrote the landing page from Vue to modern Angular, preserving the supplied design.

An existing design and a landing page previously built in Vue.

My work

All development: responsive layouts, animations, forms and integrations, starting from the existing version. The visual design was provided by a designer.

Why Angular

The rewrite followed the company’s decision to improve maintainability and bring internal projects onto a single framework.

I’m Davide. Every project starts with listening to you: what you do, what you want to achieve and how you want to present yourself. From there, I design and develop the website, working directly with you to build something that reflects who you are.

My background is in IT, from my school diploma to further specialist study. Today I work with Angular, TypeScript and Firebase, building both the interface and the data and functionality behind it.

I live in Milan, with roots in Vibo Valentia. Outside work, there’s travel, cinema, plenty of music and the sea. That curiosity comes into my work too: I enjoy seeing a blank screen become something real.
